Today I’ve decided I must sacrifice some things in order that I might be able to save up to purchase my next vehicle which will ultimately be used to travel to all the wonderful shows that all my fave bands will have coming up in the new year.

So this means I probably won’t be online for awhile.

Take Care everyone and thank you to all my new followers who have recently followed and those who may in the coming months.

I hope you’ll stick with me because I do plan on returning and will have a lot more to share with you when I do?

Hugs and Love!  Have a wonderful upcoming new year!

Dead Leaves Rocks at Denny’s Hot Rod Bar and Grill’s Halloween Bash in Cressona PA , USA

Wow!

What a righteous rockin show!

I’ll tell ya what, they won’t be back till spring, but when they do come back, if you haven’t seen or heard Dead Leaves you owe it to yourself to get out to one or more of their shows! They kill it every time!

I also can’t forget to give credit to their terrific sound techs David Eye, David Walters & the crew from Empty Pockets Studio they do a hell of a job really bringing out the best! I highly recommend them.

Speaking of the sound, I noticed that even though it was a small room and I was right near the amps my ears aren’t ringing like is normal after a show, so my compliments because believe me it was loud, but not so loud that it was distorted. I could hear everything clear as a bell.

You should have felt the floor vibrating with the sounds of Diamond Jer on the Bass and Rich on drums, then J with his Rad Riffs on guitar and add to that frontman Kris with lead vox & Guitar as well, and wow! This band is just full of talent. They bring a mixture of cover songs and their own originals.

Brings to mind an AC/DC song “The Walls were shakin, The earth was quakin!” They Rocked Dennyshotrod Barandgrill!

Also before they ended for the night they took time out to give a shout out and compliments to many of our local bands such as Crobot, Breaking Benjamin, Halestorm, etc.

It was also nice to see good friend, Britney Deville of Britney Deville Photography doing what she does best getting amazing shots of the band. I can’t wait to see them! I was pleased to be able to chat with her and make arrangements to share them on my Pottsville PA Band Network page, as soon as they are available.

If you’d like to see more of her wonderful work please make sure to stop by her page at the link above.

I must also compliment Denny’s Hotrod Bar and Grill, it’s wonderful owners and staff, they did a wonderful job tending to a packed house.

The place, although not a big place was still roomy and pleasant with a great atmosphere, very clean, and the staff was very friendly and efficient.

Thank you to everyone and most especially to my awesome dear friend Aprilann for inviting me along, & taking me with she and our mutual friends, Pete, & Gina for a hell of an amazing night!

Check out our photos of AWOLNATION from Aftershock Festival

Another great performance at Aftershock Festival was given by AWOLNATION. This was my first time seeing them live, I have been waiting for a while and it always seemed that when they came to town, I was out of town. This time I was not going to miss them. They were incredible and just created a great vibe that spread through the sea of fans. There is something welcoming about this band, their stage presence and music is so inviting. It was great to see the variety of fans that they have and even see some serious metalheads enjoying their set. Check out the photos by our Rockin Ryan:

AWOLNATION is currently working on a new album and we can’t wait for it. You can pick up their Megalithic Symphony (Deluxe Edition) on iTunes here. Make sure to visit their social media sites and stay up to date…

Take a listen to the first single Say F*ck it off Buckcherry’s new album

Music Junkie Press

IMG_0441

Buckcherry have just a little less than two weeks away from the release of their new EP which is titled…. FUCK. FUCK is set for an August 19th release! You may be wondering about the title but there is much more to the four letter word title. This is a tribute to the word ‘fuck’… Over the years, we’ve been told so many times to get away from the honesty that makes this band special. It’s a part of who I am. It’s not about the profanity itself; it’s about using it cleverly.” – Josh Todd posted on their Facebook page.

One thing is for sure, I am really looking forward to this EP. Buckcherry have always made the music that they wanted to and have maintained to keep the honesty in their music. So I applaud them again for continuing to keep themselves grounded and…
